Carlos "gogo" Gomez has performed and recorded with a list of the biggest recording artists of our time. Throughout his career he has recorded with contemporary mega stars Mariah Carey and Sade, and played alongside such luminaries as Eartha Kitt, Laura Branigan, Jody Watley, Roy Ayres, Maxwell, Patti Austin, ConFunkShun, Mickey Hart (Grateful Dead), Tito Puente, Malo, Pete Escovedo, Charlie Palmieri, Arturo Sandoval, Gipsy Kings, Jose Feliciano, Gato Barbieri, Pharaoh Sanders, and Grupo Afro-Cuba de Matanzas. Gogo’s virtuosity is heard in the sheer range of his rhythmic influences and musical styles that he plays. After recording a series of dance remixes with Francois K of Wave Music, David Morales of Def Mix and Jay Denes of Naked Music, Gomez launched his independent label, Kidlat Records. In 2005, he released a solo album titled, “Homenaje Al Asmatico.” In 2010, Gogo released a new solo album, “New Paradigm Global Music” which features Electronic and Acoustic World Trance Grooves. From America’s Pop Hits, Rock and Roll, Jazz, Salsa, Persian Pop, Nigerian Juju music, and New Age Electronica, Gogo’s hallmark is his virtuosity, diversity and experimentation with new technologies.
