CARLOS GOGO GOMEZ

Carlos Gogo Gomez has performed and recorded with a variable list of the biggest recording artists of our time. Throughout his career, Carlos has played and recorded alongside contemporary mega stars as Madonna, Quincy Jones, Mariah Carey, Såde and Francois K, as well as luminaries, such as Tito Puente, Pharaoh Sanders, Eartha Kitt, Arturo Sandoval and Gipsy Kings, to name a few.  His virtuosity can be heard in the different rhythmic influences and the sheer range of musical styles that he plays, from Afro-Cuban Bata, Jazz, Rock and Roll, to Persian Pop, Nigerian High Life, New World Music and Electronica. Carlos' hallmark is his diversity and experimentation in different music genres. 

Carlos's newest venture is his band called, We Are 1 Somos 1 - a collaboration of some of the best San Francisco Bay Area musicians, combining genres of American Pop Music, Latin Pop, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Salsa and just plain booty-shakin' music.

Carlos maintains a vigorous schedule of live performances, as well as teaching privately, recording studio sessions, and running his production company.
